The AgroCouncil presents the annual Run for the Petals 5k race and Petal Tour to kick off the Greenport Village Cherry Blossom Festival.
The Festival showcases over 300 cherry blossom trees (7 varietals) planted and maintained by the Greenport Village Tree Committee. The Greenport Tree Committee and Greenport BID are beneficiaries of the festival proceeds. This year’s festival opens with Run for the Petals 5k on Saturday, April 26th. 12 noon 2024 Greenport Cherry Blossom Petal Tour begins at participating businesses in the Village of Greenport.

The walking map is a guide to the Village’s 300+ cherry blossom trees and the dozens of participating restaurants and shops. Restaurants/bars & shops who make a $100 donation will receive placement on the map and the opportunity to showcase a cherry blossom-inspired food/beverage or gift.
